When Is GTA 6 coming out

Despite the fact that Rockstar Games has yet to make an official announcement, GTA 6 is a foregone conclusion. GTA 5 and its online multiplayer component GTA Online are among the most played and purchased games of all time, implying that a sequel is a certain conclusion.

As of April 2020, "a new addition in the Grand Theft Auto series" is under early production, according to a Kotaku article. According to the source, the game will have a limited start and will be enlarged through updates, similar to an MMO or GTA Online.

When is GTA 6 expected to be released?

To cut a long storey short, if Rockstar had announced GTA 6 the day after Red Dead Redemption 2 was released (October 26, 2018 - mark your calendars), we'd be looking at a 22-month wait, or August 2020, based on previous delays between console GTA announcements and releases. Rockstar didn't do that, of course. In actuality, it didn't do anything, so we just have news that GTA 6 is "early in production" as of April 2020. As a result, predicting a release window is challenging.

What has Rockstar stated publicly regarding GTA 6?

In a four-part interview with Develop magazine in 2013, Rockstar North's previous President hinted the next series entry, which sparked the online rumour mill:

In the interview, Benzies stated, "We don't sure what GTA 6 will be, but we have some ideas." “We have roughly 45 years worth of ideas that we want to pursue. We'll choose the best candidates. It all starts with an idea. The first question is where it will be situated. The missions are then defined; in LA, you're doing something different than in New York or Miami. The map and tale are created simultaneously, and the storey provides a fundamental flow of how it all works out so that the mission can be layered in."

Of course, Benzies didn't reveal much about what shape GTA 6 will take, leaving Rockstar North in a tense situation. However, it's doubtful that Rockstar would abandon the GTA series' tried-and-true production method, in which individuals and buildings are placed on top of a world built from the ground up. It would be a bold step to modify the template in GTA 5, which was built by 1000+ devs from studios all around the world.
