Is nemesis going to appear in the Resident Evil reboot?
The long-awaited Resident Evil movie reboot is finally in the works, but it may come with a serious dose of déjà vu. According to production insiders, in addition to going back to the first two movies with actress Milla Jovovich as the heroine Alice, the new version of the Resident Evil movie is also turning to Milla's cinematic nemesis, Michelle Rodriguez, as a major part of its storyline.

Michelle Rodriguez plays Baker Stroud in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and has also starred in the Resident Evil prequel, Resident Evil: Retribution, and has also been linked with the upcoming Resident Evil 6.
In a behind-the-scenes photo from The Final Chapter, Michelle Rodriguez has reportedly been spotted shooting scenes for the Resident Evil movie reboot alongside director Paul W. S. Anderson.

Now it is not entirely clear if this is Michelle Rodriguez filming as Alice, or if she will be playing a new character. Resident Evil has so far had three leads, including Milla Jovovich's Alice, and there are a lot of theories floating around online regarding which characters will be starring in the new movie. With her potential involvement in the Resident Evil reboot, it would make sense for Michelle Rodriguez to appear as one of the lead characters. However, an official confirmation has yet to be made.
